Renting your textbooks online has only very recently become viable. Now rather than later is the time to get into it.
Renting Textbooks will save you a lot of money over your college life. $100's a semester in some cases. Renting your textbooks can save you 50% to 80% off the price of a brand new book, and the book you will be receiving will be in as-new quality.
Its So Easy To Do
Firstly, you want to find the cheapest copy of the book that you can, go here and enter the or ISBN of the book that you want and do a search. It will show you a list of available books to rent or buy. If it isnt listed there generally Amazon will be you next cheapest bet. If you still cant find just google "Textbook Rental Websites" and pick a site and search again.
If you STILL cant find the book you are after, you may be out of luck. Check your campus library, many lecturers put a copy of all required reading on reserve.
When you have found the cheapest available book, all you need to do is to create an account, pay the site, and wait for your book. They generally arrive within the week!
If you need to keep the book longer, that is no problem, simply let them know and like any other rental program, they will extend the rental period for a fee.
Once you are done with the book, simply send it back in the pre paid postage bag that came with it when it first arrived and you are done.
Its that easy!
